The purpose of VIP is to serve as voice for all the UCM students in the matter of programming and managing Spotlight. VIP members attend weekly meetings on Thursday at 4 p.m., promote Spotlight sponsored events and assist with Spotlight sponsored events.

Spotlight has an executive board that consists of a president, vice president of marketing, vice president of membership, comedy coordinator, recreation & leisure coordinator, pride & tradition coordinator, ideas & issues coordinator and mules after dark coordinator. You can gain leadership experience by interviewing for any open positions each semester. As a team member, you will receive event planning, marketing and networking experience along with getting to meet and work with awesome performers!

Spotlight has resources to help your organizations plan events. Spotlight can provide funding to events that are open to campus and free of charge, publicize events and even provide popcorn. Applications should be submitted at least two weeks before the event to provide ample time to promote the event effectively.
