The University of Central Missouri's Pharmacy Technician ASHP/ACPE certificate program is an online, self-paced program designed to help you launch a rewarding new career. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the need for these professionals is expected to grow by 1,278 over the next five years. Average pay for pharmacy technicians is approximately $31,300. Approximately 70 percent of pharmacy technicians work in retail settings with close to 13 percent in hospitals.
